Players: Six league players with an APA 5 (TAP 4) or better handicap. This is not a handicapped tournament. Unknown players are not accepted. Player can bring one spectator (there isn’t room for any more). One alternate player accepted in case there is a no show (no buy in unless you play). Reservation by phone are preferred so we can plan accordingly.
Buy In: $25.00 per tournament player at the door. Free Finger food, pop, and beer (but you could bring something).
Format: Each player plays every other player twice. Winner is the person with the highest number of wins. Each player has five minutes of game time per game on a chess shot clock. If the clock runs out on your turn, you loose. Using modified TAP Rules for 8-Ball. Winner of last game is the referee for the next game. Loser of the last game is the time keeper for the next game. Simonis 860 cloth, Super Aramith Pro balls, Sardo rack.
