These counters by Beth are most often used for straight pool. Some places simply do not have counters and these were designed to be set on a table and used like the traditional beads. The Waldron Mechanical Pool Ball Polisher

Features include:

• A barstool swivel under a terrycloth encased platen

To use the machine place a dot of Aramith Billiard Ball Cleaner on each ball (ball cleaner is not sold with the machine). Place a cleaning cloth (not shown) and the cover on the machine. Turn the crank. Normal arm motion moves the balls fast and a three year old child can rotate the crank with no difficulty. Crank about 10 times and then rotate the balls 90 degrees horizontally for the best cleaning action. Turn the crank ten more times. Remove cleaning cloth and wait about two minutes for a haze to develop. Place buffer cover on machine and crank about 10 times. Rotate the balls 90 degrees horizontally and crank another ten times. This results in a high shine on all 16 balls. The whole process takes less than five minutes.

Plans for the Waldron Mechanical Pool Ball Polisher

This set of plans with photos that will allow you to make the polisher yourself. You will need general wood shop tools including a jig saw, table saw or similar and the ability to route wood.  Approximately one or two days is required to make and assemble. These are general instructions and measurements can be altered to fit your circumstances. After you have paid $12.95 for the plans they will be emailed to you.
